PROVINCIAL FLOWER
The Lady Slipper was designated as the provincial flower in 1947. The flower is a member of the Orchid family. Can be found in swamps and wet woodland. The plant produces a great many seeds, but takes 10 to 15 years to grow a flowering plant.
